The Detroit native has been serving as an ice hockey coach for over two decades. He has likely earned quite a lot from his profession as a coach. Likewise, Jeff Blashill's net worth must also be a significant sum.

Blashill started his career as a collegiate hockey assistant coach for the Ferris State Bulldogs at his alma mater in 1999. Later, he joined Miami University as an assistant coach for the Miami RedHawks in 2002. Then, in 2008, he was named the head coach and general manager of the Indiana Ice, a Tier I junior ice hockey team in the USHL. The former hockey player became the Western Michigan Broncos head coach at Western Michigan University in 2010.

Afterward, Blashill became an assistant coach of the Detroit Red Wings of the NHL in 2011, and about a year later, he accepted the head coaching position at the Grand Rapids Griffins, the AHL affiliate of the Red Wings. He signed a new three-year contract with the Red Wings organization in 2014 and was named the head coach of the club just after a year.

The Red Wings announced they signed the 1973-born coach to a two-year deal in April 2019. He signed another contract extension with the Red Wings in 2021. Sadly, he was let go from the Wings on April 30, 2022. Following that, the sportsman was hired by the Tampa Bay Lightning as their new assistant coach in July 2022.

According to CapFriendly, Jeff Blashill's salary was $800,000 yearly, earning $3,200,000 in total during the first four seasons as the Red Wings' head coach. Therefore, he must have received more money with his contract extension in the next seasons.

Since the FSU graduate was the head coach for the Detriot for seven years, his income as an assistant coach of the Lightning must also be significant. So, Jeff Blashill's net worth must be a considerable amount.
