Frédéric Vasseur is a French-born motorsports engineer and a manager having a long career managing team in the Formula series. Frédéric Vasseur has had a long career in motorsports and is the CEO and the managing director of Sauber Motorsport AG, aka Alfa Romeo Racing. Along with this, Vasseur is also the team principal of the Switzerland-based Sauber racing sports team. Vasseur has been an amazing addition to and has worked as an engineer, team leader, and technical team member for multiple Formula One racing teams.

Frédéric Vasseur has been part of the Formula One racing world since the 1990s and has worked with the utmost dedication, drive, and discipline to better his team. Vasseur has been an influential and charismatic member of each of the teams in Formula One that he's had the opportunity to work with and garnered quite a success throughout his career. Early Life, Family, And Education

Frédéric Vasseur was brought into this world on the 28th of May of 1968. The French-born and raised motorsport engineer was born in Draveil, Île-de-France, to a couple of French parents. Due to the private nature of Frédéric, not much is known of his early life. Even the information on Frédéric Vasseur's parents is secret, as the Team Principal for the Alfa Romeo Racing has decided not to disclose his parents' identity or any information on his siblings.

Frédéric Vasseur has been passionate about racing sports and fascinated with the mechanism behind the manufacturing of the racing giants. This fascination led Frédéric to pursue aeronautics and engineering in ESTACA Engineering School. Vasseur uses his aeronautics studies and engineering knowledge to design his team's best driving race car.

The same path Frédéric took in his education led Frédéric Vasseur's career into what it has known to be.

Career, Formula One, And Engineering

Frédéric Vasseur's career began as he created his own junior Formula-series team, ASM. The ASM team that he founded, in partnership with Renault, won the French Formula 3 championship with driver David Saelens in 1998. Similarly, they won the Formula 3 Euroseries championship with Jamie Green, Lewis Hamilton, Romain Grosjean, and Paul di Resta from 2004 to 2007 in partnership with Mercedes-Benz.

On the other hand, Frédéric Vasseur formed the ART Grand Prix team with Nicolas Todt that won the GP2 Series Championship with Nico Rosberg and Lewis Hamilton in 2005 and 2006.

During the 2016 Formula One season, Frédéric rejoined the Renault team's newly formed Renault Sport Formula One Team as the Team Principal. However, Vasseur resigned from his position at the Renault team at the end of the 2016 season after a disagreement with the managing director, Cyril Abiteboul. In the aftermath of Vasseur's split, he was snatched up by the Sauber Motorsport AG.

On the 27th of July, 2017, Sauber announced them signing Vasseur as CEO and managing director of Sauber Motorsport AG. Additionally, he was also named the team principal of the Sauber Formula One racing team. Furthermore, all these endeavors that Vasseur has been a part of would surely make up a large amount in Frédéric Vasseur's net worth.

Depending upon their experience in the racing world, a high-level engineer can make $84K to $152K and mostly leads to six-figure salaries. Frédéric Vasseur has worked as an engineer for various of the aforementioned top tiers racing teams for years, including working in his own team.
