Though the Buschs are no longer in control of the family brewing empire, Anheuser-Busch, they are still well off. Moreover, some of the heirs to the family fortune have even started their own reality show. Here, we are talking about Billy Busch Sr.

The reality show allows the audiences to see how the multi-millionaire enjoys his life with his spouse and their kids. It also provides insight into Busch Sr.'s personal life away from his aloof business image.
Still, many facts about the guy are yet to be revealed, which we shall cover in this biography of Billy.

Is Gussie Busch's Son
The businessman was born William K. Busch in 1954 in St. Louis, Missouri, USA. As already mentioned, he belongs to the Busch family, whose business was launched by Bill's great-great-grandfather, Adolphus Busch. Likewise, Billy Busch Sr's father, August Anheuser Busch, aka Gussie Busch, served as the Anheuser-Busch CEO for more than two decades. He married four times in his lifetime, and Billy's mother, Gertrude Buholzer Busch, was his third wife.
William grew up in a large household with five siblings, Adolphus A. Busch III, Peter W. Busch, Beatrice Busch von Gontrad, Trudy Busch Valentine, and Andrew D. Busch. Among them, Peter created The Busch Family Foundation, and Trudy was a Missouri Senate candidate. On the other hand, Beatrice is one of the owners of Grant's Farm and is passionate about wildlife and environmental conservation.
Talking about Busch Sr.'s education, he has yet to share where he completed his schooling. He grew up working on his family's Grant's Farm, a 700-acre estate. Though he was born into a wealthy household, he worked hard from a young age, a trait that helped him in his adult years.

Billy Busch Sr. Net Worth - $200 Million
Gussie Busch's son never worked at Anheuser-Busch. Instead, he started his own business William K. Busch Brewing Co., in 2011. He founded the brewery to continue the family legacy. His firm produced the Kräftig Lager and Kräftig Light beer brands, and its sales expanded outside of Missouri as well.
Unfortunately, William K. Busch Brewing faced several setbacks due to a growing competitive market. Its plans of establishing another brewery in St. Louis were also met with obstacles. At last, eight years after the brewery's launch, Billy announced it would cease its operations in 2019.
A year later, in March 2020, Busch's family reality show The Busch Family Brewed started airing on MTV. It featured him, his spouse, and their kids and ran for a season with ten episodes. Furthermore, in the tv show, Billy disclosed his plans of building a new brewery on his family farm. The show revolved around his efforts to launch the distillery.
Busch Sr.'s new brewery goes by Busch Family Brewing & Distilling, and it has launched two beers, Adolphus German Style Pilsner and Gussie Bavarian Lager. Both liquors are available at various eateries and pubs, and the products' sales must be benefiting Billy financially. Also, he must have earned notably from starring in MTV reality show.
Besides, the Busch family's fortune of $17.6 billion is said to be shared among thirty family members. Hence, Billy Busch Sr.'s net worth is a whopping $200 million.
The businessman has spent some of his fortune on his St. Louis house, which covers 6,300 sq. feet and 4.5 wooded acres. He is also one of the owners of Grant's Farm, which was worth $51 million as of 2017. All in all, he is living comfortably.
Was Arrested For Allegedly Assaulting A Minor
The brewery founder's otherwise perfect life has been marred by several controversies over the years. For instance, he was charged with fourth-degree assault in November 2017. As per the report, Busch allegedly grabbed an 11-year-old boy and pushed him into a wall after the latter's altercation with his son.
The businessperson pled guilty to the charges and reached a deal with the boy's family in June 2018. However, this wasn't the first time he had been in trouble with the law. He was accused of assaulting a Naugles restaurant's employee in 1982. A year earlier, he bit off a guy's ear during a brawl. Thankfully, since the 2017 event, such incidents haven't occurred.
Is Happily Married
For Billy, Grant's Farm not only gave him his first work experience but also allowed him to meet the love of his life, Christi Busch. During their first meeting, Busch was training elephants while Christi was working with monkeys. He was immediately infatuated with her and soon after asked her out on a date.
After several years of courtship, the couple walked down the aisle in May 1991. Both have been enjoying marital bliss for over three decades, and their marriage is thriving. As many people are interested in learning about the Buschs, the pair were previously approached about doing a reality show. However, Billy Busch Sr.'s wife felt it was too soon and was determined to let their kids have a normal childhood away from the public eye.

Mrs. Busch revealed that she didn't come from a wealthy background and always urged her children to be humble and kind to everyone. She is a supportive spouse who has always been on board regarding her hubby's business plans, including the launch of a second brewery. Overall, the duo shares a lovely relationship.
Proud Father Of Seven Children
Yes, as the title suggests, Billy and Christi have welcomed seven kids together. The big clan's day-to-day life was chronicled in The Busch Family Brewed. Billy Busch Sr.'s children are Billy Busch Jr., Haley Busch, Abbey Busch, Gussie Busch, Grace Busch, Maddie Busch, and Peter Busch. Each has their own story to tell, and the reality show allowed them an outlet to let people know about their journey.
Among the Busch kids, Billy Jr. is the oldest, while Peter is the youngest. Several of them were enrolled in all-boys or all-girls schools. In addition, Billy, Grace, and Gussie were involved in sports during their academic years. Gussie is also a polo player, avid hunter, and fisherman and calls himself the Busch family's Ladies Man.
Despite their extravagant lifestyle, Busch Sr. and his family are down-to-earth individuals. To conclude, Gussie Busch's son is doing well professionally and living comfortably with his wife and children. Though his first brewery was shut down, his new business appears to be doing good. Hopefully, it will continue to prosper in the future. Our best wishes go to the entire Busch family.
