Blockchain technology has emerged as a transformational force in business and public sector activities in recent years.

Aside from enabling bitcoin transactions, blockchain technology may be used to facilitate cross-border payments, create digital asset exchanges, and manage supply chains, among other things.

Moreover, India has ranked second in terms of worldwide crypto usage in 2021, with global crypto adoption increasing by more than 880 percent in the previous year.

In India, where a few years ago, the talk around cryptocurrency was mainly about Bitcoin pricing and scams, now, everyone is talking about blockchain and how it can transform industries. Plus, we have already got India's first crypto billionaires in Jaynti Kanani, Sandeep Nailwal, and Anurag Arjun. Initially, the blockchain network Polygon, formerly known as Matic, was founded by three Indian software engineers as mentioned. However, later the team was joined by another Serbian member Mihailo Bjelic.

So, let's dig a little about Serbian engineer Mihailo Bjelic who also contributed to the success of the Polygon network.

Mihailo Is A Degree Holder In Information Systems Engineering

Mihailo Bjelic is the Co-Founder of Polygon, which is also known as Matic Network, a framework for building and connecting Ethereum-compatible blockchain networks. The Serbia-based developer graduated from the University of Belgrade with a degree in Information Systems Engineering.

Since the developer is not from any entertainment industry or media-based personality, it is understandable if not much of his information is revealed publicly yet. Hence, it also makes sense why there are no further details about Mihailo Bjelic's family. However, we sure would like to know about the tales of the engineer's upbringing in the near future.

Mihailo Bjelic Net Worth & Career

Aforementioned, Mihailo is a graduate of the University of Belgrade in software engineering. But, it seems, apart from his bachelor's degree's information, there are no such details about him, not even on LinkedIn. Hence after graduating, where did he land the job is below the radar affair. However, in one of the interviews given by another co-founder of Polygon Sandeep Nailwal, we learned that Mihailo joined the team when the network transitioned from Matic to Polygon.

As mentioned earlier, three software programmers, later included Mihailo Bjelic, created Polygon, an Indian origin network. The headquarters of the company is in Mumbai.

Mihailo Bjelic Net Worth

Its inventors have high intentions to make it the third-largest crypto project after Bitcoin and Ethereum. Despite the fact that it is already among the top 15 cryptocurrencies with a market capitalization of nearly $11 billion.

The price of this coin is said to be $2.50 at this time around. The coin's value has increased by over 10,000% from last year. Matic's value has increased by over 90% in around May 2021, whereas bitcoin and ethereum had decreased by roughly 30% and 35%, respectively, in the same time frame. Hence if going at this rate, we can anticipate the future dominance of Polygon. Similarly, Mihailo Bjelic's net worth would have also been steadily increasing as the market value of Matic.

Polygon's Big Collaborations

Matic, Polygon's native token, has skyrocketed in value from $26 million to over $14 billion since its establishment in 2019. Matic's price explosion has made its co-founders billionaires, partly thanks to their current 4-5 percent ownership in the cryptocurrency.

Seeing its potential and increasing value, many big tech giants have shown their network interest. Having said this, Polygon established a collaboration with Infosys Ltd's consulting division. M-Setu is what the name has been given to this partnership.

Another significant Polygon collaboration is the Trace Network.

Polygon also performed a massive integration with Google Cloud's BigQuery, in addition to several other significant achievements. Polygon is now included in Google Cloud's BigQuery's 1TB offering. Users of BigQuery can now execute queries on Polygon's network and access various blockchain-related data sets. Hence we can see, the network is sure to become a wild thing in the coming future, which simultaneously would help with its co-founders' high earnings.

MATIC Is Attracting A Growing Number of Investors

While the market value of cryptocurrencies such as Bitcoin, Ripple, Ethereum, and others dropped during the pandemic, the value of Polygon (MATIC) increased by about 35%.

Following the decline in the market, many sophisticated investors began looking for the next great thing. Polygon appears to have grabbed their notice. It is one of the top 15 largest cryptos in the world and has gained huge support in India.

Additionally, in 2021, billionaire investor Mark Cuban whose net worth is around $4 billion as per Forbes, backed this Indian Blockchain startup. The billionaire announced that he had invested in Polygon, which can be seen on the portfolio section of his company's website. Mark is well-known for his support for cryptocurrency.

Hence we can see, Polygon's flawless growth has been boosted by Mark's investment in the company. Polygon should expect higher adoption in the future as a cryptocurrency backed by the billionaire investor who backed Bitcoin, Ethereum, and other major cryptos.

In fact, It's tough to verify data in the crypto sector, and there could be many other entrepreneurs who have amassed considerable money but aren't publicly known. Similarly, Mihailo Bjelic's net worth might be one of them.

Is Mihailo Bjelic A Married Man?

Looking at the buzz the Indian origin network Polygon has made, let's just admit that you too might have been curious about the masterminds behind the network. And no wonder the urge of knowing about their personal lives too. However, to break the ice, no such news has been heard of till now that tells that Serbian developer is in a relationship.

Alike his other team members, Mihailo Bjelic's girlfriend's or wife's existence is undetermined. Hence we are letting that be up to your imagination.

Wrapping it up, all we can say is that these accomplishments only indicate that the developers who have put their minds and souls into the startup will all be worth it as soon as crypto dominates the majority of the market. Hence our best wishes are with Serbian co-founder Mihailo Bjelic and the other members on board.
