Lauren Pronger was born Lauren Breece to Robert William Breece Jr. and Elaine Breece. She was raised alongside her siblings Bryan Sterling Breece and Justin Wade Breece in St. Louis. According to sources, Pronger's father was the founder of a successful investment banking firm, and she grew up in a privileged family.
Unfortunately, when Pronger was just six years old, her father was diagnosed with stage four colon cancer and given a 20% chance of survival. Despite this, Robert never revealed what was going on or how ill he was. Instead, he harnessed whatever energy he had left and embarked on international trips, including Sri Lanka, London, France, Egypt, Turkey, and so on, with his family to overcome his sickness.

Miraculously, Lauren's father's condition bettered over time, and later, he beat colon cancer. Her family was overjoyed at the news; unfortunately, their happiness was short-lived, as he suffered a severe stroke in 2011, leaving him paralyzed on his left side. Sadly, his health deteriorated over time, and he passed away in June of 2012.
Similarly, Lauren's mother was also diagnosed with breast cancer in 2011. Fortunately, with treatment and Pronger's help, her mother is now cancer-free, and the family is living a healthy life in St. Louis.
