The athlete started playing snooker on his lounge carpet with ping pong balls at age seven. His passion for the cue sport continued, and he began attending the snooker club the following year.

Jack Lisowski's father took him to Westgate Club owned by John Pearce in their hometown. Afterward, Pearce's son, Nick Pearce, a former snooker professional, trained Jack in the club.
