The motorcycle rider was welcomed into the world by his dad, Rolandas Jasikonis, and mom on September 12, 1997, in Anykščiai, Utena, Lithuania. It was initially Arminas Jasikonis' father, Rolandas' dream to race motocross. However, being from a humble background, it didn't work out for him. So, after making some money, he got a small bike for Arminas' fourth birthday. At the age of 5, in 2001, the latter competed in his first race.
Then, Arminas moved to Estonia when he was 12 years old, where he lived and trained with Estonian motocross racer and coach Avo Leok. After spending two years in the country, he made a move to Belgium, where he settled and started training professionally and intensively for competitions.
As for his educational background, the skilled racer studied at and graduated from Anykščiai Antanas Baranauskas Basic School. He also went to school for a year in Estonia, where he learned Russian. In September 2020, Arminas sustained a serious traumatic brain injury after being in a crash during the second MXGP race at the Lombardy Grand Prix in Montovia. He was then placed in a medically induced coma in order to stabilize his condition.
Thankfully, the motocross star woke up from his coma on September 30, 2020, just a few days after his deadly crash. He was able to get over the worst of his injury and return to racing after getting rehabilitation.
