Those boys' hard work did pay off, and A7X became a famous band of its time.

A7X first released a three-track demo in the late 90s. Afterward, Sadistic Records asked them to develop two music compilations. The members then recorded two new tracks and released them with previously recorded songs. After sending it to Good Life Recordings, the band landed its first record deal.

Matt Wendt Net Worth And Career

As already mentioned, Matt was one of the original members of Avenged Sevenfold. As he was there from the very beginning, he knows and even experienced every struggle the newly formed band had to face. His passion for music led him to continue with A7X in their early stages until their first record deal.

However, everything is temporary, and people's ambitions also change with time. The A7X then-bassist decided to leave the group and enroll in a college. As per M. Shadows' one interview, Wendt was one of their best friends, and all bandmates grew up with him physically and musically.

After his departure, Wendt's position was then taken by Justin Meacham. Later, Synyster Gates also joined the group, and together they have released several studio albums, singles, compilations, and more. On the other hand, Matt is said to be involved in politics. He must be doing well in his current profession.

The former bassist has remained away from the limelight. However, it seems like he is still keeping up to date with A7X's activities. In fact, he caught up with his bandmates in one of their shows. Moreover, Matt had kept his original bass guitar that was used to record the band's first demo. He signed to auction off the guitar and also donated $500 to charity.

As per BestSellingAlbums.org, Avenged Sevenfold has sold over 5,913,000 albums, including 500K in the US and 460K in the UK. Matt's former band members have benefitted largely from the band's success. Furthermore, lead singer M. Shadows' fortune of $20 million is all due to A7X. While Matt might not make just as much, his earnings must be significant. Thus, Matt Wendt's net worth must be a notable amount.

Who Is The Former A7X Bassist's Wife?

Since his departure from the heavy metal band, Matt has preferred to stay low-key and away from the media. He is so secretive that not many know about him aside from his brief stint with the band. It's also not helpful that he has little to no social media presence. So, where is Wendt now; what about his family?

The world might have only wondered about these things if Matthew Charles Sanders, aka M. Shadows, had not disclose a bit about him in one interview. He talked about their past together, calling him one of their best friends. He also shared how Wendt decided to leave for college, which the band members supported.

Not just that, the lead vocalist also disclosed how Matt is now a married guy with a family. He and his spouse had attended A7X's show in San Francisco, where they got to meet with the members. Unfortunately, besides this, not much has been revealed about Matt Wendt's wife. It seems like, just like her husband, Mrs. Wendt leads a quiet life.

Hopefully, we will get to know more about the lady. Likewise, whether the duo shares any children or not, might also be disclosed in the future.

Matt's Family Background

By now, you all know that the former bass player is a man of secrecy. So, it doesn't come as a surprise that information regarding his parents, siblings, and upbringing is hardly available. Still, it's likely that he is of the same age as his other band members, Shadows, Vengeance, and the Rev.

Overall, Matt is likely doing well in whatever career he is pursuing. His personal life must also be good, and he likely leads a comfortable life with his family. We wish him all the best in his future endeavors and hope he will be a bit transparent about his career and other things.
