Monique Idlett was born on April 30, 1974, into a low-earning family. The business tycoon was raised alongside her two siblings by her father, who sadly passed away when she was just nineteen years old. She had to lead a life full of hardships from an early age.

She played a pivotal role in helping music producer Timbaland, also known as Timothy Zachary Mosley, to establish Mosley Music Group and Mosley Brands. Monique was appointed as CEO of both companies and managed music artists and groups like Chris Cornell, One Republic, and Nelly Furtado. She played a significant role in uplifting the MMG artists to get certified platinum by RIAA sixty-four times and RIAA certified gold twenty-two times.

However, the happy couple ended their marriage after just five years together. Monique filed for divorce from the musician stating that her husband had been cheating on her with other women. Besides that, the businesswoman also indicated that they had been together for ten years and requested a large amount of money to cover her child support, insurances, and education for her children. The married couple ended their relationship two years later, following the beginning of their divorce case. The American businesswoman has not been open about her relationship since her divorce.
