Charlie left Google in 2013, roughly two years after launching Litecoin. He worked for Coinbase, which had just launched. Before leaving Coinbase in 2017, he served as an Engineering Manager and later as Director of Engineering. Charlie was one of the very first employees employed by Coinbase.
The Litecoin creator dropped out as Director of Engineering at Coinbase to work full-time on Litecoin Foundation in June 2017. For now, he serves as the Managing Director of the foundation, where he is in charge of the development of the Litecoin cryptocurrency.
